Piece goods

Okay kiddo, so imagine you're at a store with your mom buying some fabric to make your own pillowcase. You see a bunch of different types of fabric, like cotton, flannel, and fleece. These are called "piece goods."

Piece goods are basically big pieces of cloth that you can buy by the yard or meter. They come in all different colors, patterns, and materials, and you can use them to make all sorts of things like clothes, curtains, and bedding.

So when you're out shopping for fabric, just remember that you're looking for "piece goods" - big pieces of cloth that you can cut and sew to make something special!
