ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Power structure

Imagine you and your friends are at the playground and you decide to play a game. However, not everyone agrees on what game to play or how to play it. This is kind of like power structure.

Power structure is all about who has the most control and influence in a group or organization. Just like at the playground, adults in charge of a company, government, or a community decide the rules of the game, how to play it, and who gets to make decisions.

The power structure is usually divided into different levels or positions, with some people having more power than others. Like a ladder, those at the top have the most say and control over what happens. The people at the bottom, like workers or citizens, often have less power.

The power structure can change depending on the situation. Sometimes the person with the most knowledge or skills has more power, and other times it can be the person with the most money. But what's important is that everyone gets a fair chance to have their voices heard and their needs met.
