Puto (food)

Puto is a yummy snack that people in the Philippines like to eat. It's made from rice flour, which means that it's made from rice that has been ground up into a special kind of powder.

To make puto, you'll need to mix together the rice flour with some sugar, baking powder, and water until it forms a smooth and sticky batter. Some people also add coconut milk for extra flavor. You can pour the batter into special molds called "puto molds" that come in different shapes like circle, oval, and even heart-shaped, and steam them for about 20 minutes or until they're cooked all the way through.

Once your puto is ready, you can eat it plain or with a variety of toppings like cheese, butter, or even shredded coconut. Puto is often served at special occasions like birthdays or fiestas, but you can also enjoy it anytime as a tasty snack!
