ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Region

Okay kiddo, a region is a big place that has its own characteristics that make it different from other places.

Imagine you’re playing with a bunch of toys in your room. You have your toy cars, stuffed animals, and building blocks. Each of these toys is different and has unique features that make them special.

Similarly, different regions in the world have their own unique features, such as the types of animals that live there, the weather, the landscape, and the language people speak.

For instance, the Arctic region is very cold, and you would need to wear special clothes to stay warm. It’s also home to polar bears, penguins, and seals, which you wouldn’t find in other regions.

So, a region is like a big toy box that has different toys, and each toy represents a unique characteristic of that region.
