ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Regional inequality

Regional inequality means that some parts of a country or area are richer or poorer than others. Think of it this way: you and your friend both have some candies, but your friend has more candies than you. This is like how some regions have more money and resources than others. Sometimes this can happen because some areas have more jobs, better schools, or nicer buildings. But other times it can happen because of things like discrimination, where some groups of people are treated worse than others in certain places. Regional inequality can be a big problem because it can make it hard for people in poorer areas to get the things they need, like food, healthcare, or education. It's important for people to work together to make sure everyone has access to these things, no matter where they live.
