Social influence

Social influence is when people around us influence how we think or act. This can happen in good or bad ways. A good example of social influence might be a teacher or parent encouraging you to study hard so that you can get good grades in school. A bad example might be your friends telling you to do something dangerous or bad like taking drugs. Social influence can also be powerful when groups of people all act the same way and this can sometimes lead to bad decisions.
