Spiral of Silence is a situation where people are afraid to share their opinions in public because they think other people won't agree with them. This can cause people to stay quiet and not speak up, even if they want to. If this happens enough, it can cause a spiral where no one is willing to share their opinion, and everyone is scared to go against the crowd.
