Survival Analysis is a way of studying how long something or someone lasts. It looks at things like how long people live after a health problem, or how long an item lasts. It can be used to study people in many different situations, such as in medicine, economics, and engineering. To do survival analysis, people look at data to figure out how long it takes for something—like a person’s health—to get better or worse. They look at when it happened and what was happening at the time. They also try to figure out what made it last that long or not. With this information, people can predict how long something will last, or improve it if needed.
