Elevator

An elevator is a type of machine that helps you to go up and down between different floors in a building. It looks like a metal box with metal doors, and when you press a button, it takes you up or down to the floor you choose. To make sure you are safe, the elevator has brakes, sensors and metal cables that keep it from falling. When the elevator stops at the right floor, the doors open and you can step out.
