ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Industrial democracy

Industrial democracy is when people who work in businesses, like factories or offices, get to make decisions about how their workplace runs. It's kind of like a democracy, just like the kind of democracy used by countries, but it's for businesses instead. This means that workers get to vote on things like what kind of projects they'll work on and how to divide up their work. It also means that workers get to have a say in decisions that affect their jobs, like how much money they get paid or even how much vacation time they get. With industrial democracy, the people who work have more control over what goes on in their workplace!
