Infrared imaging

Infrared imaging is like looking at things with your eyes, but instead of seeing colors like red, blue, and green, you see heat. Have you ever put your hand near a hot stove and felt the warm air coming off of it? That's the kind of heat we can see with infrared imaging!

To make this happen, we use a special device called an infrared camera. This camera can pick up on differences in temperature and turn them into pictures that we can see. So if you were looking at a person with an infrared camera, their body would show up as different colors depending on how warm or cool they were.

This technology is very helpful for experts like firefighters, who can use infrared cameras to see through smoke and find people who might be trapped in a burning building. It's also used in medicine to help doctors look inside your body and see if there are any problems they need to fix.

Overall, infrared imaging is a cool tool that lets us see things that we can't normally see with our eyes. It's all about heat, but it can give us valuable information that helps us stay safe and healthy.
