Korean Reunification

Korean reunification is when North Korea (a country in the northern part of the Korean peninsula) and South Korea (a country in the southern part of the Korean peninsula) become one country again. They used to be one country many years ago, but they were split into two countries during the Korean War in the 1950s. People who want to reunify Korea hope that North Korea and South Korea can work together to become one country again, just like they were before.
