Mediterranean

The Mediterranean is a big body of water in the middle of the world, kind of like a swimming pool. It's surrounded by lots of different countries like Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey, and Egypt. People have lived around the Mediterranean for a very long time, like thousands and thousands of years! They have their own cultures and ways of doing things, like eating yummy foods and building really cool buildings. Sometimes, they even trade things with each other, like olives, grapes, and spices. The Mediterranean is also home to lots of animals like dolphins, sharks, and jellyfish. It's a really important place for people and animals alike!
