Revanchism

Revanchism is when someone or a group of people want revenge for something bad that happened in the past. The word “revanchism” comes from the French word “revanche”, which means “revenge”. It can often lead to wars or other aggressive acts. It’s not a good thing – it doesn’t help people get along, and it can make things bad for everyone.
