Three-volley salute

So, you know how sometimes when we go to a parade or a special event, there are people who shoot guns in the air to make loud noises? Well, the three-volley salute is a special way of shooting guns that is done to honor someone who has died.

When soldiers or veterans pass away, their friends and fellow soldiers want to show how much they appreciate and respect them. So, they hold their guns and shoot them three times in a row, pause for a moment, and then do it again two more times. This makes a total of nine gunshots.

The three-volley salute has been a tradition for a very long time, and it's a way for people to say goodbye to their loved ones or fellow soldiers who have passed away. Even though it involves guns, it's a peaceful and respectful way to show honor and appreciation for those who have served our country. So, next time you hear loud gunshots at a military ceremony, remember that it's a way for people to honor and remember those who have given so much for our country.
